Robinhood’s Vlad Tenev believes AI will transform business faster than mobile or cloud, creating a new era for the global economy.
Robinhood CEO: AI will make every company technological
Artificial intelligence is becoming the new engine of the business revolution, forcing companies around the world to invest billions in implementing the technology.
AI as the new cloud
Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, likened the transformative effect of AI to that of the mobile and cloud revolutions of the 2000s, suggesting its impact will be “even more profound and rapid.”
He added that, in the future, every business will likely evolve into an AI-driven organization, as shared in a discussion with Bloomberg.
The human factor will not disappear
Despite the large-scale changes, Tenev emphasized that artificial intelligence will not replace humans in financial planning or trading. “AI will become an assistant, but people will make decisions,” he explained.
New Business Models
According to Tenev, AI will allow businesses to scale at an unprecedented pace. He predicts the emergence of numerous “one-man companies,” where one person can compete with entire teams with the help of AI.
Global investment boom
According to McKinsey estimates, 78% of companies are already implementing AI in at least one business process, compared to 55% in 2023.
At the same time, leading US technology corporations intend to invest more than $400 billion in capital expenditures in 2025, with a major focus on the development of AI.
Wall Street View
JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon believes that AI will change “almost every job,” equating its impact to the invention of the printing press, the steam engine, electricity, and the Internet.
